...and I think the pebbles left, signify the visitors. Very nicely done! _m
A haunting image, Angelikabut very nicely written, wishes, devika
Emotive and evocative Angelika. Well done.
Thank you, Devika, Janice, Magyar and John! It's a very peaceful place -a lot of old trees, a lot of old graves. Around there are fields. You can find these butterflies on the tombstones for Jewish women, very common in the 18th century. The old tombstones are complete in Hebrew, the tombstones of the last 200 years in Hebrew and German. Best wishes,Angelika
Picture and haiku work in me as a set and as single pieces. "How the winds are laughing ..."Best wishesRalf
these elements; oak, whispering wind, then Jewish graves, and these pebbles... As an old sailor I prefer whispering winds, not roaring ones :-) Oak as a tree is my favourite. (We've got one older and some it's children in our garden) Then I'm wondering what the Jews did in Gaza strip. Why Talebans exist. As a revolutionary I'll write here a haiku in two lines:winds whispering -- the peace ;-)
I like the engraved winged creature, as if it is saying: "You cannot disturb me anymore". Beautiful words to go along with it.
Only the the oak trees and the stones know about it...Very atmospheric!Rudi
Thats really something.I always enjoy it here!!Love alwaysG LU
Thank you for all your comments! We all long for peace -- peaceful places, a peaceful world, peace in our mind/soul.Thank you for your deep thoughts.Best wishes,Angelika
