Ein schöner Tag!
Heute traf hier Post aus Finnland ein! Haiku aus Finnland!

What a nice day!
Today I received a letter from Finland! And haiku!

Und nun sitze ich hier ... Und übersetze ...
And now I sit here and I try to translate ..

syksy majassani --

(Issa; in: Kogarashi, S. 28, editor: Juhani Tikkanen)

autumn (but what means majassani?) --

cold night

Herbst (majassani ?) --
kalter Tag
kalte Nacht

a day later:
I still look for "majassani" -- perhaps Juhani will comment, then we will know ...

please read the comments, read what Juhani (Tikkis) wrote, it`s so interesting!
