FAIR WEATHER

tiny shoots
in the greenhouse –
I whisper

spring stroll
bedclothes airing
on windowsills

cherry blossoms
the jogger stops
to check his pulse

spring chill
tapping the barometer
one more time

(Angelika Wienert; LYNX, June 2008)
