haiku
puddle
a leaf from the West
to the East
(AW, Oct 2023)
poem
in the park
two dogs
play or fight
who knows
a third dog
much taller
arrives on
the scene
no noise
no move
and some
want to go
home
arrival
by ferry
above calls
a rusty sign
fish &
a woman's
pink coat
she waves
and a man
waves back
only
the moss
was nice
in this yard
and someone
removed it
I suppose that
in this moment
he or she
is sitting in
a very grey
living room
dahlias
and grey clouds
try to be less grey

and a bird and
its friend the tree

Look at it!
"It's magic!"
"No, it's baking powder."
"But this size! Wow!"
It's a wonderful world for some.
Yes,
Mr. Armstrong!
Red roses too!
