Thank you, Devika!

It is an old house (parts were built in the 13th century for example door sills, ceilings) but inside there are new bathrooms, internet, tv -- so old and new together. The house belongs to a hotel (building next door) where we had breakfast and dinner. We have stayed there (this old house) for the second time (first time 1995).

The village is a place of pilgrimage (pilgrimage of the Road to Santiago, Way of Saint James). So every day you hear a lot of church bells (church, chapels).

Best wishes,
Angelika

okay so nice..it really is majestic and brings that glory of former times...to retain and modernise a 13 century building is not a small deal :)

Road to Santiago - need to read about that...the post altogether was enchanting Angelika, really :)

wishes,
devika

This picture is gorgeous!
I started a photo blog temporarily but now I only have old edits on it that are definitely nothing compared to what I'm doing now.
I love you're work though!
