haiku
the bell tower
the early autumn wind
brings nearness
(AW, Aug 2026)
this wind
a Sunday wind
it carries some autumn
poem
what are young parents
supposed to tell
their children now
when glaciers
can no longer stand it
there is no story
about so helpful giants
available
shrubs
and this astonishing long
spider thread
the air
has changed
summer is beaten
the left stone lion
is wet from rain
and proud of it
days before
a robin told him
that rain will come
and it seems
that this robin
is wise
look at it
this evil drought
has its end now
heat in forecast
my body insists
it's already fall
possibly
the heat enthusiasts
hide in cellars
you just walk along
and beneath you
a much lower
groundwater level
a strong branch
of this tall tree
could hurt you
this tree told you a lot
this tree begged
now long intervals
between its whisper
summer sounds
the night's hum
of insects and tech
August heat
again too tired
to do all chores
